The Buzz: Who doesn't love watching a cat video on the internet? But stretching out the idea into a 100-minute comedy seems like a risky prospect no matter who you are, so that's why we hope one of our favorite comedy duos, Jordan Peele and the suddenly everywhere Keegan-Michael Key, don't miss the mark with their first project since they consciously uncoupled from their successful TV show last year.
Mother's Day (2016)
Certificate PG-13 118 min - Comedy | Drama
Three generations come together in the week leading up to Mother's Day. Director: Garry Marshall Stars: Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis
The Buzz: Garry Marshall is back with another ensemble holiday movie. It's a subgenre that tends to alienate everyone but its core audience though this particular one, which features a nearly all white cast and Julia Roberts in a memorable wig, will probably become a perennial at-home favorite. Looks at Jason Sudeikis on the poster; he's grinding his teeth.

With senses of humor and drama that bring Almodóvar to mind, Irish director Paddy Breathnach dove into a Cuban subculture and emerged with a film that made the shortlist for the Best Foreign Language Oscar last year. - Arno

The Buzz: Captain America: Civil War brings Steve Rogers' main arc to a close while kicking-off the journeys (and franchises) of Black Panther and Spiderman. The Russo brothers made a tight, impressive, political thriller with Captain America: Winter Solider, and have described Civil War as a "psychological thriller" with Brian De Palma and the classic Se7en as inspiration. (I really hope no one gets sent a box...) Readers of the Civil War comics may be a little worried about who will make it out of this one alive, but all will be revealed on May 6! Honestly, I'm just super excited to see the Avengers go head-to-head in what critics have been calling the best superhero dust-up of ALL TIME. Can. Not. Wait. #teamcap - Vanessa

The I Am Love filmmaker re-teams with Tilda Swinton (please let this relationship continue) with a story that sounds quite American on paper, but with all of the truth-telling, sex, slapping, and intense character dynamics, we're happy to see Guadagnino preserving his unique sensibilities as he turns a corner in his early career.

Truly there's no better time than now to revisit Episode IV and meet a handful of people whose lives were forever changed by their appearance in the movie.

Originally completed back in 2013, the project went through a reshoot/reworking period before hitting the festival circuit this year with a debut at Tribeca.

Two crooks with a fondness for old Hollywood B-movies convince a languages student to help them commit a robbery. Director: Jean-Luc Godard Stars: Anna Karina, Claude Brasseur, Danièle Girard, Louisa Colpey
The Buzz: Beloved in myriad ways, Jean-Luc Godard's commentary on Hollywood melodramas manages to be trashy, pulpy, and morally sound. Hardcore critics consider it one of his most underrated works.
