The Whale 2022

A reclusive English teacher attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter. Following its debut screening at the Venice Film Festival, both the movie and lead actor, Brendan Fraser, were given a six-minute standing ovation; a moment, caught on camera, that brought Fraser to tears. Long time fans and critics alike have called The Whale a revival of Fraser's career after many years of absence from the screen.

Viewpoint (2021– )

  Noel Clarke leads an all-star cast in the brand new Tiger Aspect drama series Viewpoint for ITV, in association with Unstoppable Film and Television. Based on an idea by Fleabag and Emmy award-winning director, Harry Bradbeer (Killing Eve, No Offence) and co-created and written by Edgar award-winner Ed Whitmore (Safe House, Manhunt), the gripping five-part drama follows a tense police surveillance investigation into a tight knit Manchester community and explores whether it is ever possible to observe the lives of others with true objectivity and zero effect. The script seems to have been written by a team of 1st year media studies students who have not been shown anything about Manchester at all - especially as to what the aveage Mancunian is wearing.
